What happens when a visitor reaches the end of your blog posts? Could be they move on to another article, promote the post through social media, follow your RSS or simply comment and move on to the next blog. Obviously the last thing we want is for our readers to simply read an article and then move on to another blog. So just what can we do to keep these readers around?
The blog post footer, situated between the bottom of an article and the comment section, provides the perfect opportunity to serve up some interactive options for your site and hopefully keep visitors around for more.

In Conclusion
As I mentioned in the opening, I pursued this list in an effort to grab some inspiration for an upcoming redesign of Bluefaqs. Thanks to the special attention that these designers have paid to their blog post footer, I now have a good grasp of what I’m wanting to accomplish with mine. I’m hoping that you found some inspiration from this roundup as well or at the very minimum have seen what can be done with this section of your blog. If you have a well-designed blog post footer that wasn’t mentioned above, please feel free to point a link to it in the comments below.
